Julia was in San Francisco this weekend visiting a friend and her sister Kerrie. I took the kids to Yale Lake with Nana and Brooke. We camped Saturday night and Brooke and I raced our Thistle while Nana watched the kids. Unfortunately, it rained. It was funny hearing us Seattleites talking about it as "a light summer rain - a bit softer and drizzlier than the heavy and soggy rains of winter, and definitely warmer on the skin (at a balmy 60 degrees)." It was as if we were tasting wine. Still, a tough day camping and sailing beats a good day at the office.
